Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026
Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how teicor, a Wyoming corporation ("Teicor," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit teicor.com, subscribe to our emails, take a quiz on our site, book or pay for a call with us, or choose to connect business systems so we can prepare for a call. If you are a Teicor client, your signed service agreement also governs the data you give us as a client, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with this policy.

If you have a question about this policy, please email us at privacy@teicor.com. Our mailing address is 8535 SW 63rd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.

1. The short version

  • We collect the information you give us, such as your name, work email, and brand name, along with basic information about how you use our website.
  • If you book or pay for a call, our scheduling and payment providers collect what they need to make that work. We never receive your full card number.
  • If you choose to connect QuickBooks or Shopify before a call, we receive financial reports and records from your business. We use them only to prepare for and run your call, we keep them confidential, we never change your books, and unless you become a client we delete them on the schedule below.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money. We may use Google's analytics and advertising features, and you can opt out as section 5 explains.
  • You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact details, such as your first name, work email, brand or company name, and a phone number if you choose to give one.
  • Quiz and form answers, such as your business type, revenue range, sales channels, the topics on your mind, the accounting system you use, a check-back date if you pick one, and anything you choose to write in a form.
  • Booking details, such as your name, email, the time you choose, your answers to booking questions, and your acceptance of our booking terms.
  • Payment details. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive limited details, such as your name, email, the amount, the date, and the brand and last four digits of your card. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Messages you send us, and the contact details that come with them.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit teicor.com, our website host, our security and content delivery provider, and our analytics provider automatically collect some information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location based on your IP address, and the date and time of your visit. Section 9 explains the cookies involved.

2.3 Financial data you choose to connect

We may offer you the option to connect QuickBooks Online or Shopify before a diagnostic call. Connecting is always optional, and you can book a call without it.

If you choose to connect QuickBooks or Shopify, the connection runs through a third-party connection provider using that platform's own sign-in. You approve the connection on Intuit's or Shopify's own pages, and we never ask for, see, or store your QuickBooks or Shopify password.

  • What we receive. We receive financial reports and records to prepare your diagnostic. From QuickBooks, this may include your profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables, payables, and general ledger detail. From Shopify, this may include orders, payouts, products, inventory, and sales reports.
  • What we will not do. We never change your books. We use the connection only to read your reports and records.
  • Information about other people. Your records may include the names, email addresses, or mailing addresses of your customers, vendors, contractors, or employees. We treat all of it as confidential and use it only as described in this section.
  • The connection provider. The connection provider has its own terms and privacy policy, which also apply when you use its service. Before you connect, we will tell you who it is.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • run our website and respond to your questions and requests;
  • show you quiz results, email you a copy, and decide whether a call is a good fit;
  • schedule, prepare for, and hold calls, including reviewing financial data you chose to connect;
  • process payments, send receipts and confirmations, and handle rescheduling;
  • send our newsletter and other marketing emails to people who have chosen to receive them;
  • understand, in aggregate, how people use our website so we can improve it;
  • measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited our site, when the advertising features described in section 5 are enabled;
  • protect our website and forms from spam, fraud, and abuse;
  • keep business, tax, and dispute records, and comply with the law; and
  • enforce our terms and protect our rights.

Connected financial data is used only to prepare for and run your diagnostic call and to follow up with you about that call. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, we do not combine it with other businesses' data, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share it only as described below.

  • Service providers. We use providers that handle information on our behalf so we can run our business. These include our website host, our security and content delivery provider, our email service, our analytics and advertising provider (Google), our scheduling and payment providers, our email and calendar provider, and, if you choose to connect QuickBooks or Shopify, the connection provider. They may use the information only to provide their services to us, except that some providers, such as payment processors, also use certain information as independent businesses, for example to prevent fraud or meet their own legal duties.
  • Our team. Teicor personnel and contractors who need the information to do their work, under confidentiality obligations. Connected financial data is limited to the people preparing and running your call.
  • Legal reasons. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Teicor, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Teicor is part of a merger, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may transfer to the successor, which must continue to honor this policy for information collected under it.
  • At your direction. When you ask us to share something, for example with your own advisor.

5. Analytics, advertising, and your opt-out choices

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use teicor.com. We may also use Google features that support advertising, which may be enabled from time to time. These may include Google signals, which can associate visits with Google accounts of signed-in users across devices; advertising personalization; and a link between Google Analytics and Google Ads, which may be used to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. When these features are enabled, Google may receive information such as cookie identifiers, IP address, device information, and pages viewed on our site, and may use it under its own policies.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state laws, including California's, may treat the use of advertising features like these as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising. To the extent they do, you have the right to opt out, and you can do so in any of these ways:

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

6. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

7. Your choices and rights

7.1 Choices everyone has

  • Unsubscribe. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email privacy@teicor.com. We honor requests promptly, and within 10 business days at the latest. We may still send you messages about a call you booked or a payment you made.
  • Disconnect QuickBooks or Shopify. You can disconnect at any time from your own QuickBooks or Shopify settings, where the connection provider's app is listed, or you can email privacy@teicor.com and we will remove the connection for you. When a connection ends, we stop receiving new data and delete what we already received on the schedule in section 6, or sooner if you ask.
  • Cookies. See section 9.

7.2 Access, correction, and deletion

Anyone in the United States can ask us to tell them what personal information we have about them, give them a copy, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@teicor.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like us to do.

We will confirm that we received your request and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address we have on file or give us information to verify your identity. We may keep some information when the law requires or allows it, such as payment records we must keep for tax purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.

7.3 California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA"), applies to businesses that meet certain thresholds. To the extent it applies to us, California residents have the rights described here.

  • Categories we collect: identifiers, such as name, email, and IP address; commercial information, such as booking and payment records; internet activity, such as pages viewed on our site; professional information, such as your brand and role; inferences from quiz answers, such as whether a service may be a good fit; and, if you connect accounts, business financial records that may include personal information about others. Sections 2, 3, 4, and 6 describe the sources, purposes, recipients, and retention periods.
  • Sensitive personal information. We do not collect passwords or account log-in credentials, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit it under the CCPA.
  • Your rights: to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to get a copy; to delete; to correct; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as section 5 explains; and not to be treated differently for using these rights.
  • How to use them: email privacy@teicor.com with the subject line "California privacy request." You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask the agent for proof of authority and ask you to verify your identity with us directly. We respond within 45 days, and if we need up to 45 more days, we will tell you.
  • Direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

7.4 Residents of other states

Several states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, have privacy laws that give residents rights similar to those above, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. Many of those laws apply only to businesses that meet certain thresholds, and many do not cover information collected in a business-to-business setting. Whether or not a law applies to us, you can make a request under section 7.2. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we will respond within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards that fit the size of our firm and the sensitivity of the information, and we limit access to information to the people who need it to do their work. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulators as the law requires.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, for these purposes:

  • Necessary: security, bot protection, and rate limiting, for example the _cfuvid cookie set by our security and content delivery provider.
  • Functional: remembering choices you make on our site, such as closing our newsletter popup, and keeping quiz answers in your browser session if you reload the page.
  • Analytics and advertising: counting visits and understanding how pages are used through Google Analytics, which sets cookies such as _ga. If Google's advertising features are enabled, as section 5 describes, Google may use these or other cookies to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited our site.
  • Booking and payment: our scheduling and payment providers may set cookies when their tools load, so that booking and checkout work and payment fraud can be prevented.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may stop forms or booking from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, so our site does not change its behavior when it receives one.

10. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and the adults who run them. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please email privacy@teicor.com and we will delete it.

11. Visitors outside the United States

Teicor is based in the United States, and our services are offered to businesses in the United States. Our providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

12. Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites and services, such as LinkedIn and X. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect. Intuit's and Shopify's own terms and privacy policies govern your use of their products.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and we will change the "Last updated" date when we do. If a change is material, such as a new use of connected financial data, we will post a notice on this page before it takes effect and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Changes apply going forward.
